The transitional housing program is a second stage program for Domestic Violence CLients. Grant funds support all rent and utility cost for the program. Clients most hold a full-time job or be enrolled full time in school to qualify. Shelter staff supervises the progress of clients participating in this program. The maximum length of stay in transitional housing is one year.
After Care Program: Home visiting services provided continued support to families leaving the emergency shelter. Our staff will make weekly home visits with the families to offer services with the use of material and activities focusing n violence prevention and strategies to control their anger in the home and in the community.
